An English spoken wedding … no problem!
I can help you, with exception of the most important sentence:
The vowels, these must be in Dutch (by Dutch law).
So start practicing THE question:
English:
“your name, do you accept your partners name as your husband/wife and do you pledge faithfully to fulfill all the duties that the law attaches to marital status?
Your name what is your answer?”
Dutch:
“Your name neemt u your partners name aan tot uw echtgenoot/echtgenote en belooft u getrouw alle plichten te zullen vervullen die de wet aan de huwelijkse staat verbindt?
Your name wat is uw antwoord?”
Now you’re surpose to say: Ja!
If you say Nee (No) we all go home.
Rate
For an official wedding (by Dutch law) the price depends on the rate the township charges. For a ceremonial wedding the rate is
€ 875,00. This is including an introductory meeting, writing a speech in English, preparing the deed and travel expenses within a radius of 50 km from Utrecht (city).
